Reviews: Real
Betis;
If
you like to operate a strict defensive line then there’s no
point in reading this team review any further, because as in
the Real Madrid image, Betis are a team build around attacking
ability. Betis have got solid but unspectacular players at the
back, Moreno providing support and Flipescu usually providing
the brunt of Betis’s defensive ability. Further on the
addition of Assancoa is essential for the team’s midfield
battle and in him you have a technically gifted, strong
captain. Looking left and right from there it soon becomes all
too apparent that you are spoilt for choice. Whilst the
wunderkind Joaquin’s stats might not be as good as one was
to expect, his game is very solid and he provides speed, skill
and a tantalizing cross or final ball. The player on his
parallel side is the ex-most expensive player in the world
Denilson, and he is blessed with a reasonable shot, brilliant
trickery and the ability to produce real quality for the front
men. The Betis formation uses just one up front with the
utility and multi talented Palermo going at it alone. However
as many of you prefer two up front I highly recommend Alfonso
who is very capable of finishing teams off. Go to the bench
and there are scores of good attacking players, Tote being the
most notable whilst Maldonado does a good job as a attacking
midfielder. With the attack as good as it is it’s easy for
Betis to score goals, just keeping them out may prove to be
the hardest thing.

Conclusion:
An
attack minded players dream or a defensive players nightmare,
best suited for those that are confident on the ball and
pushing the opposition back. If playing against Betis does not
get pinned back instead focus on drawing out their defensive
saving grace Assancoa and slipping the ball wide or beyond the
back 3. The team will look to get forward continually and with
the skilful efforts of Denilson and Joaquin Betis are a team
to be feared if allowed to control the game.
